Vista da fuori va bene, la sua storia è chiara ma adesso è ora di capire l’impressione che fa dall’abitacolo, è sensazionale. L’erogazione è spaventosa, o tutto o niente, non c’è molto da modulare con l’acceleratore, piuttosto vale la pena telegrafare, il cambio poi è una brutta bestia, a freddo pretende di essere svegliato perchè altrimenti non comanda, una volta a regime spara dentro le marce senza dover ricorrere a palette ed elettroniche ormai montate anche sulle utilitarie vezzose.
Il suono poi è splendido, facendo attenzione si sentono anche le turbine soffiare tanta aria. Questa è una F40 LM, la creatura di Michelotto che arriva ad erogare agevolmente 720CV, non tollera di essere risparmiata, neanche da Lafitte, gas sempre giù, altrimenti borbotta con tutta l’aria che ha nei condotti.
